Sometimes an insurance mess leads to a two floor remodel followed by a series of projects in other rooms. At this home we had the chance to turn a flooded master (that damaged the kitchen below) into the spaces they had envisioned for years.
Sometimes an insurance mess leads to a two floor remodel followed by a series of projects in other rooms. At this home we had the chance to turn a flooded master (that damaged the kitchen below) into the spaces they had envisioned for years.
When we first scheduled our site visit the damage hadn’t happened but the weekend before we showed up disaster hit. What was going to start with a kids bathroom remodel turned, instead, into the master and kitchen with the office and kids bathroom to follow. We rebuilt a preferred kitchen with a bigger range and hood, better cabinetry layout and updated finishes while changing the location of the shower and toilet, installing a freestanding tub and opening up the master bathroom for a spa-like feel. After completing the first phase, we turned our attention to the original plan: the kids bathroom and home office.
We turned an unfortunate water loss into a beautiful space, being invited back for the kids space and home office. We were pleased to deliver on a home office that any local executive would be proud of and create other spaces that this family will enjoy for years to come.
